Mike's 60th Birthday August 09

Mike was taken away for his 60th Birthday to The Luttrell Arms in Dunster. It was pure luxury from the room to the food. The village was beautiful, lovely and quiet. The view of the castle was stunning. A nice place to celebrate a special Birthday.

Sophie's 12th Birthday July 09

Another year older - hard to believe that Sophie is now 12!! She had a lovely day. First thing she went horse riding then she had a couple of friends over in the afternoon. She had lots of horsey presents which went down well and lots of money to put in her account for a rainy day.

French Exchange Part II

Second week of the exchange saw Sophie going to France with Valentine. She went to Disney, Paris and Versailles. She had great fun with Valentine's family and was sad to leave them. Disney was great and Paris was beautiful. Versailles was huge and very impressive. A very good two weeks - hopefully the girls will continue to stay in touch.

French Exchange Part I

Valentine came over for a week from France and stayed with us which was great fun. We went to London, Lyme Regis, Paignton Zoo and Weymouth. Unfortunately the weather was not very kind so we were limited as to how much time we could spend outdoors. The girls got on really well and after horse riding during the day we would all go swimming then play games. A good week had by all.

Activities Week - July 09

For the last week of school Sophie went horse riding for her chosen activity. During the week she had to muck out the stables and went out on her horse Rosie. On the last day they were awarded rosettes and Sophie came 1st.
