USA Road Trip 2008
The beautiful Danish town of Solvang in California is so sweet. All the buildings look like they have just come out of a fairy tale. They sell some very nice fudge here!
The Painted Ladies with the financial district of San Francisco in the background.
The famous Alcatraz - we managed to get Sophie in a cell but unfortunately it wouldn't lock so we couldn't leave her behind.
A very cold Mike and Sophie at the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco.
Mammouth resort and again this year we managed to get some snow.
This little fellow watched your every move in the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas.
The Strip at night.
have every been to. If we could live there tomorrow, we would.
Emerald Bay, Lake Tahoe.
The Big Sur.
I think this elephant seal may have had one drink too many last night!
Sophie with her good old friend Mickey Mouse.
Disneyland California.
Once again a brilliant holiday. Loads of new places to explore as well as a few old favourites. Las Vegas and Disney were as mad and fun as ever. We spent more time in San Francisco this time and went to Alcatraz which was good. We also went on a tram and walked around Chinatown. Along the coast we saw loads of elephant seals sunbathing and to top it all off we saw loads of dolphins swimming just off the shore near Malibu. Roll on the next Pinkett road trip.
